Branding is all you experience thinking about Apple, Coca-Cola or M&M’s. When you think about the most successful businesses across different industries one thing they have in common is a strong brand. Yet, many small businesses neglect the importance of branding and miss out on the benefits of carefully planned branding strategy.

Think about Apple – People buy iPhones, not only because they like the phones, but also because they value the brand. If customers trust your brand they might be willing to pay more for your products just like they pay more to get an iPhone rather than a similar phone from a different brand.
3. Your brand can help you inspire your employees Your employees should all work to achieve the same goal. Whether it is quality of your products, excellent customer service or innovative ideas your brand can help your employees understand what you aim for and set common goals.

4. Branding generates referrals Word of mouth is the most effective advertising. After all, you are more likely to listen to your friend’s recommendation than a TV advert. Good branding enables your company to get referrals generating new customers. When people remember and like your brand they are more likely to tell others about your products.
