Think of your small business website as a business card, but with greater reach and depth. Like a business card, your website needs to impress anyone who views it. Here are 20 tips to help you create a beautiful and impressive business website.

1. Invest in a website that is modern, looks professional and is secure.

2. Make sure that your website is mobile and tablet friendly.

3. Test your website to avoid having errors on your website that visitors may encounter.

4. Organise your website navigation logically; make it easy for visitors to your site to find what they are looking for.

5. Keep the design of your website simple.

6. Enable and encourage your website visitors to contact you – use one or more well-designed contact forms.

7. Use easy-to-read fonts, for instance, Roboto, Ubuntu or Lora.

8. Each page should contain at least 400 words and 2% of keywords.
